La Rive Condominium was constructed in 1984-1985 for the developer Riverplace, Inc., a major subsidiary of the 170 year-old Tokyo-based Kajima Corporation. Architects for the project were Korsunksy, Krank & Erickson, of Minneapolis. The general contractor for the project was Bor-Son Construction Company, Minneapolis.  Occupancy began in January, 1986.

La Rive is owned by the La Rive Condominium Association. Our next door neighbor Riverplace is owned by Sentinel Real Estate Corporation since 2000.

La Rive is located north of downtown at 110 Bank Street S.E., Minneapolis, MN. 55414 in the heart of the thriving urban North-East Neighborhood. In walking distance are the Riverfront, Stores, a new Lunds grocery store, and many eating establishments.

The Management Company is Gittleman Management Corporation, 1801 East 79th Street, Suite 21, Bloomington MN 55425.

La Rive has 27 floors with one penthouse, (there is no 13th floor) and a total of 118 units. Underground parking is available on 4 floors for residential parking (171 Stalls) and 2 floors for guest parking (28 stalls).

Amenities are:

Cabaret (Party Room): Reservations for the Cabaret (located on the 2nd level) can be requested at the Management Office during business hours. The charge is $ 100.00 per day. More detailed information is available at the Management office.

Guest Suite: One Guest suite is available on the 5th floor in Unit 502. The guest suite is furnished with a queen bed and a single sofa bed, color cable television, stove and microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. For reservations, charge and more detailed information please contact the Management office.

Pool/Sauna & Steam Rooms: Indoor swimming pool, steam room, sauna, whirlpool Jacuzzi, are located on the 2nd floor.

Second Floor Conference Room and Lending Library: The second floor Conference room is available for use seven days a week / 24 hours a day. The facility cannot be reserved and is available for resident use only at no charge basis.




Third Floor Exercise Facility: A newly renovated work-out room is located on the 3rd floor.

Indoor Car Wash: Located on parking level G-4, next to stall # 9.

Work Room: Located on parking level G-4 right behind the car wash, the workroom offers residents a large working area for projects such as painting, woodworking, etc.

Office Equipment:  A copy / fax machine in the back office for a nominal fee.
